Kalbarri Community Health Practice

 

Kalbarri Doctor's Surgery closed permanently at the end of June 2026 and KDA has developed a business case for a community led not for profit primary health service.

KDA is confident that it is possible to implement a sustainable community led model of primary health care from which funds generated by the practice will be reinvested back into community health.

The Shire is initiating a tender process to select the next proponent to provide medical services in Kalbarri and our organisation will be competing to be the successful candidate.

We need support to make Kalbarri Community Health Practice a reality now and for the future of Kalbarri.

We are raising funds for the working capital needed to buy the equipment, furnishings, recruit and train staff and pay them whilst the practice starts generating income.  Every cent will stay with the practice and be reinvested back into health services for our community.  We can have services that bigger communities might take for granted.
